About Us
Founded in 2013 by Rozana Hykaj and Matilda Halili, Arbëria is a community-led cultural and educational initiative dedicated to preserving and promoting Albanian language, heritage and identity among younger generations in the United Kingdom.
Rozana is a qualified teacher with over ten years of classroom experience; Matilda is a trained web designer with a degree in the field. Together, they established Arbëria to meet the growing need for culturally relevant educational and artistic programmes within the Albanian diaspora in the UK.
Arbëria offers Albanian language instruction, traditional dance classes, cultural events and community engagement activities that strengthen intergenerational and cross-cultural understanding.
Our aim is to help Albanian-speaking youth and families maintain strong cultural ties while participating confidently and meaningfully in British society.

Our Mission
Arbëria is a community-led organisation committed to preserving and promoting the Albanian language, heritage, and cultural identity among younger generations in the United Kingdom.
